Dear Parents, Our Annual Sponsored Walk in aid of School Sporting Activities will take place on Wednesday 8th May, weather permitting. Sport is a central and vital aspect of school life in which all children are encouraged to participate. Pupils are involved in Gaelic Football, Hurling, Soccer, Basketball, Chess, Athletics, Tag Rugby, Cross Country and Indoor Athletics. Gaelic and basketball coaching are also widely availed of. We are also fortunate to have a fully qualified P.E. teacher who works with classes from Junior Infants to 1st, concentrating on gymnastics and motor movement thereby complementing the work done by class teachers. Dear Parents, As per holiday schedule the school will close for Easter holidays on Friday April 12th at 12 noon. It will re-open at on Monday April 29th 2019 at 08.50 a.m. Child Safeguarding Statement and Risk Assessment The Child Safeguarding Statement and Risk Assessment has been reviewed and approved by the Board of Management at its meeting on March 26th 2019. Dear Parents, As per the holiday schedule the school will close on Friday, December 21st at 12 noon for Christmas holidays. It will re-open on Monday, January 7th 2019 at 08.50. It was fantastic to welcome one of our past pupils Mark Schutte to the school recently. Mark arrived with the Sam Maguire Cup and was also joined on the day by camogie and ladies football stars Sinéad Murphy and Hannah O’Dee, who also brought the Brendan Martin Cup and the Kathleen Mills Cup with them.
