I hope you are all keeping well. As our situation remains unchanged we thought it might be easier to provide you with a more structured plan. Linked below is a daily guide for your child for the week. It includes online activities, worksheets and reading activities. Below are also links to the English and Maths worksheets for each day.
We have also created an account for your child on studyladder.com, in which we have assigned online maths and english tasks and where we can monitor your child’s progress remotely. Your child’s individual username and password to access this will be texted to you on Monday 30th, via the school account.
In the Junior and Senior infant classrooms, a lot of our learning happens through play. Play is a vital part of learning for all children and therefore it should still make up a large portion of their day. Creative play, make-believe play, messy play with water, construction play with Lego and similar toys as well as small world play with dolls, toy animals, cars and so on should all be encouraged.
Please, again, note that we appreciate that many of you will be working from home and that it may be difficult for you to complete all of these tasks. These are strange circumstances and we do not wish to add to any stress, so please just do what you can.
